In 1993 Image Quest 3-D
raised £250,000 to research into stereo imaging
and designing equipment for both the capture and presentation
of 3-D imagery. Continued development means that they
have systems that can shoot 3-D in any format and
of just about any subject from landscapes, through
insects and marine life to single celled organisms
and single blood cells. Let us know your requirements
and we will tell you what we can do for you.
Peter Parks, Image Quest
3-D's head optics designer, won a lifetime acheivement
award from the large format film industry in 2003.
This was primarily for the development of optics which
enabled insects to be filmed, close up for the IMAX
format. He has also won a Gordon E. Sawyer Oscar from
the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences for
lifetime achievement and especially for his optics
and camera engineering.
