Fluid Effects

Image Quest 3-D has developed a micro fluid effect which has been used in Special Effects films such as Superman I and II, Flash Gordon, Supergirl and most recently 'The Fountain' with Hugh Jackman and Rachel Weisz. The same technique has also been used in many commercials, inluding those for Bupa, Rover, Persil and Gordons Gin. The movie and images below show a tiny fraction of the variety.
